Camp Shut Down Day
Help us get Lumsden Beach Camp ready for winter!
Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 1:00–5:00 PM for our annual Camp Shut Down Day. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to come lend a hand as we close up buildings, tidy the grounds, and prepare the site for the colder months ahead.
Tasks may include putting away outdoor equipment, cleaning and organizing cabins and program spaces, winterizing the kitchen and washrooms, draining and storing hoses, securing windows and doors, packing away waterfront and pool equipment, stacking and storing supplies, clearing leaves and debris, checking fire pits and outdoor areas, and making sure camp is safely closed up for the season.
Many hands make light work, come help us tuck LBC in for the winter!
