Camp Information:

Each day at Lumsden Beach Camp is filled with hands-on activities and outdoor fun. Campers will play games, canoe, try archery, hike, make crafts, swim in our pool, and more. It’s the perfect introduction to camp, while still going home each night.

Session Fee: $195
Optional Bus (Regina): $50
Meals: Campers must bring their own lunch and snacks each day

Please bring along:

A little preparation goes a long way! Please use this checklist when packing for camp, and remember to label all belongings with your camper’s name.

Before You Arrive

Lumsden Beach Camp is an electronics-free camp, so please leave cell phones, iPods, tablets, portable gaming devices, and other electronics at home.

All personal medications must be brought in their original, clearly labelled containers.

Please also leave money at home. Lumsden Beach Camp cannot be responsible for lost, misplaced, or damaged personal belongings.

Day Camp Essentials

Please send your camper with:

  • A hat
  • A full water bottle
  • Swimsuit
  • Towel
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug spray
  • Change of clothes
  • Comfortable running shoes or sport sandals
  • Rain coat, rain pants, and boots when the forecast calls for it
  • A backpack to carry everything

Lunch & Snacks

Campers should bring:

  • One nut-free lunch
  • Two nut-free snacks

Please pack food that does not require refrigeration or a microwave, as these are not available for camper lunches.

Sunscreen & Weather

We recommend applying sunscreen before your camper arrives in the morning. Campers will have opportunities to reapply sunscreen throughout the day.

Day Camp continues through all kinds of summer weather, so please check the forecast and send appropriate rain gear when needed. Please do not send umbrellas.

Electronics & Valuables

Lumsden Beach Camp is an electronics-free camp.

Please leave cell phones, iPods, tablets, portable gaming devices, and other electronics at home. Campers should also leave money and other valuables at home.

Label Everything

Please clearly label your camper’s backpack, clothing, water bottle, lunch kit, towels, and other belongings with their name.

Camp days can be busy, messy, wet, and full of adventure, labelled belongings make it much easier to make sure everything finds its way home
