Camp Information:
Campers will spend five days enjoying the outdoors at Lumsden Beach Camp. Days are filled with swimming, canoeing, games, cookouts, and campfires, high energy, great friendships, and lots of fun.
When you register your child for camp, you will see three pricing options. The highest tier allows you to pay the full cost of their registration. The 1st tier represents 85% of the full price, and LBC subsidizes the rest. The second tier covers 75% of the cost of camp, and the the 3rd tier represents 65% of the actual cost per camper.
The pricing is entirely self-selected by you, and there is no difference in program, care, or preference offered based on the price paid. Only our admin staff know how much is paid for each camper – your choice is kept confidential.

Please bring along:
A little preparation goes a long way! Please use this checklist when packing for camp, and remember to label all belongings with your camper’s name.
Before You Arrive
Lumsden Beach Camp is an electronics-free camp, so please leave cell phones, iPods, tablets, portable gaming devices, and other electronics at home.
All personal medications must be brought in their original, clearly labelled containers.
Please also leave money and food at home. Lumsden Beach Camp cannot be responsible for lost, misplaced, or damaged personal belongings.
Most importantly: label everything!
Clothing
Bring enough comfortable clothing for changing weather and active camp days:
- Jacket
- 2–3 sweaters or bunnyhugs
- Jeans or long pants
- T-shirts and tops
- Shorts
- Socks
- Underwear
- Running shoes
- Rain jacket
- Rubber boots or waterproof footwear
- Pajamas
- Messy clothes for painting and outdoor activities
SWIMMING AND SUNNY DAYS

- Beach towel
- Water bottle — essential
- Hat — essential
- Sunscreen
- Sandals or summer shoes with back straps
- Flip-flops may be used in the pool area only
- Lifejacket, if your camper prefers to bring their own

- Sleeping bag
- Carrying bag for the sleeping bag, if possible, for sleepouts
- Pillow
- Extra blanket
- Flashlight
- Extra batteries
- Mosquito repellent
Toiletries
- Soap
- Bath towel
- Washcloth

- Comb and/or hairbrush
- Tissues
Please leave hairdryers, curling irons, and other styling appliances at home.
Camp Adventures
- Backpack for sleepouts and activities
- Notebook

- Books, comics, magazines, word searches, or other camp-appropriate reading material
- Musical instrument, if desired
- Camera, if it does not have phone or internet capabilities
- Autograph book
Teen Camp Extras
Teen campers may also want to bring:
- Dress-up clothing for themed meals or activities
- Fun accessories or costumes
Packing Tip: Campers spend a lot of time outdoors, so choose clothing and belongings that can handle a little dirt, paint, grass, water, and adventure.
